Our vision is to be a school where every student can bloom beautifully — now and in the future — growing into thoughtful, capable citizens that our community points to with pride.
Every day, we work to close the gap between what we promise parents and what their children actually experience in our classrooms. Founded in 2004 by Sri S.N. Aswathanarayana through the Smt. Sharadamma Krishnamurthy Charitable Trust, SSV was born from the conviction that every child in our neighbourhood deserves an education that unlocks their full potential.
Our Mission
Giving Back to Our Neighbourhood
SSV provides a well-equipped, thoughtfully designed campus for every child with an age-appropriate system of education — right from playschool to 10th standard. We aim not only to provide basic education but to impart knowledge that helps our children succeed in all walks of life.
We provide individual attention to enhance the all-round development of each child, with a wide array of activities — reading, sports, dance, music, art, and more — alongside a rigorous academic curriculum.
The result is students who don't just perform well in examinations, but who leave SSV with the character and confidence to contribute meaningfully wherever they go.
Smt. Sharadamma Krishnamurthy Charitable Trust
The foundation upon which Shree Sharada Vidyalaya stands.
Smt. Sharadamma Krishnamurthy Charitable Trust (SSKCT) was established on 28th January 2004 by Sri S.N. Aswathanarayana, in loving memory of his parents — Late Sri S.N. Krishnamurthy and Late Smt. S.N. Sharadamma.
The Trust was founded with a clear mission: the betterment of society and the upliftment of people through education and community service. Its primary objective is to establish educational institutions — starting from Kindergarten — that impart quality education to those who need it, building strong foundations and infallible skills in children.
Beyond education, the Trust is committed to promoting spirituality and social well-being through the construction of temples, meditation halls, and community spaces — fostering peace, social development, and cultural enrichment in the neighbourhood.
With Shree Sharada Vidyalaya completing over two decades of academic excellence, its CBSE affiliation, and the Prathishtapana of the Vidya Ganapathi Temple in November 2004, the Trust continues to fulfil its founding vision.

Sri S.N. Aswathanarayana
When his father retired while he was still in Standard 8, Sri S.N. Aswathanarayana went to work — taking on his first job with K.E.B. From there, he moved to the Coca-Cola company, then Kirloskar, before embarking on his journey of becoming a successful industrialist.
In the early part of his career, alongside his full-time work, he worked part-time at the Bangalore Turf Club and took tuition classes for neighbourhood children. The impulse to teach — and to give back — was always there.
Through sheer hard work and dedication, he built a successful career in industry. Yet, he longed to give back to the society that shaped him. This vision led him to establish the Smt. Sharadamma Krishnamurthy Charitable Trust — a vehicle for his lifelong dream of serving the community through education and spiritual enrichment.
Under his leadership, SSV has grown from a small neighbourhood school into a CBSE-affiliated institution serving hundreds of families — a testament to his belief that quality education is the most enduring gift one can give.

The Trust is Named After
Late Sri S.N. Krishnamurthy
Born in Thirthahalli, Shimoga district. Gold medalist, classmate and friend of Jnanpith awardee Sri K.V. Puttappa. Dedicated his life to educational causes and retired as Director, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
Late Smt. S.N. Sharadamma
The main pillar of strength in the family. Though she had studied only till Class 7, she ensured each of her 11 children were well brought up to succeed in life. Sharada Bhavan is named in her honour.

Trust Established
Smt. Sharadamma Krishnamurthy Charitable Trust is established on 28th January 2004 by Sri S.N. Aswathanarayana, in the name of his parents.
May 2004
Foundation Stone & Inauguration
With the blessings of Shree Shankara Bharathi Swamiji of Yedathore Mutt, K.R. Nagara, Mysore, the foundation stone is laid by Smt. Manjula Muniraju, Corporator of Bytarayanapura, BBMP. Cine actors Sri Ramesh Arvind and Smt. Sudharani grace the occasion as chief guests.

Vidya Ganapathi Temple
The Prathishtapana of the Vidya Ganapathi Temple takes place, furthering the Trust's mission of spiritual and community enrichment.
